About the Author
Wynter Serenade (web), although new on this account, has been inside of SL since September of 2003. She discovered BDSM and the D/s lifestyle in late 2010. While she could include this period of time as part of her 'experience,' she considers her first long term D/s relationship the true start of her experience and that started in 2012 as a submissive.
That relationship lasted for 1 1/2 years roughly, and was overall a positive and eye opening experience. Sadly, as a result of the relationship, she decided to step away from SL for about 10 years, returning in February of 2023.
During that time, she embraced the first life side of BDSM and D/s, attending munches and discussions and some limited relationships during that time. Most of her time was dedicated to understanding relationship dynamics as they related to D/s and gaining a strong understanding of what drove both Dominants and submissives alike.
Upon returning to SL, she found her way back to the lifestyle inside of SL in April of 2023 where she began exploring her Dominant side. Upon discovering her desire for Dominance, she declared herself a Dominant leaning switch. Since then she's found several communities that have inspired her to create articles for the SL BDSM community at large that will benefit practitioners both new and old to the lifestyle.
